Introduction

In 2020, we prepared a comprehensive strategy for the brand eWinner's entry into esports. We started with creative activities and developed a plan for activations in the field of electronic sports. In the following years, we implemented the communication strategy that we created, aiming to reach the youngest customers of betting offices and to distinguish eWinner from the competition.

How did it look?

Esports offering
Our main mission was to mark eWinner's presence in the esports world and to present it among the first-choice brands in this segment. We wanted our partner to be present in the consciousness of consumers who had previously opted for traditional sports offers.
eWinner Cup
Our first event was the eWinner Cup, an open CS:GO tournament in which that was joined by professional competitors and influencers competed for a, with a grand cash prize - 5000 PLN. at stake. Over 100 teams signed up for the competition. Crucial matches were watched by tens of thousands of viewers across five influencers’ streams. The goal was achieved. eWinner made its mark on the map of legal bookmakers engaging in esports and became a recognizable entity among fans of electronic sports.
Activities with Influencers
Collaboration with influencers from the electronic sports was not limited to CS:GO tournaments. Our team, basing on previously developed communication strategy dedicated to esports, conducted activities on many fields, including activations on social media and videos on YouTube channels.
eWinner in Sports
The excellent evaluation of the eWinner brand's debut in the esports allowed us to extend our cooperation to traditional sports. Based on the best practices from the Polish market and international benchmarks, we developed a new communication strategy for the bookmaker.
Ambassador Marcin Gortat
In January 2020, Marcin Gortat was announced as the ambassador of the eWinner brand. Our task was to maximize the use his image to lend credibility to the bookmaker debuting on the market. Marcin Gortat became the face of acquisition bonuses and some of retention bonuses, the protagonist of selected communication formats on social media, a frequent guest at speedway stadiums, and even the host of the refreshed YouTube channel.
Sponsorship Activations
One of our biggest challenges was organizing the communication process for eWinner's speedway partners. The bookmaker sponsored teams, leagues, and speedway tournaments, which gave us the chance to organize this segment in terms of communication. We coordinated relations with clubs and carried out activations for eWinner customers. In result, in matters of speedway, as far as speedway is concerned, our Partner achieved a leading position in the bookmaking industry.

Our experience in this type of communication was useful in 2021 when our Client became the Title Sponsor of the eWinner 2nd Football League. The same as in previous collaborations, in this case, we were responsible for planning external communication and collaboration with several clubs.
